Yoga Classes

House of Hot Yoga offers a range of heated and non-heated
yoga classes for students of all ages and experience levels.

Original 26/2 Hot Yoga

The original Bikram yoga series, which includes 26 postures and two breathing exercises. House of Hot Yoga’s Classic 26/2 series is one of our most popular classes, and works every muscle, ligament, joint, and tendon in the body. The Classic 26/2 class is great for grounding the body and mind, and has many benefits including increased strength and flexibility, oxygenated blood circulation, better posture, increased energy and concentration, and an overall feeling of wellness and happiness.

This class is taught in our hot room at 40 degrees celsius and 40 percent humidity to create the perfect environment for yogis to stretch safely and detoxify.

Hot Vinyasa Flow

Our Hot Vinyasa Flow class is a dynamic and fast-paced yoga class, in which postures are performed in a continuous flow with a focus on coordinated breath and movement. The Hot Vinyasa Flow class includes various stretches and hip opening postures. Great for building increased strength, flexibility, and mental clarity! This class is taught in our hot room at 35 degrees celsius to provide a comfortable and safe environment for students to practice.

Hot Dharma

Dharma Yoga combines many schools of yoga. Dharma yoga includes a progressive series of vinyasa sequences. It includes pranayama breathing exercises and meditation. It is a style of yoga that blends techniques from Hatha yoga and numerous other styles with traditional yogic philosophy and meditation. The postures include stretching, twists, balancing poses, backbends and some inversions. Open to all levels of experience!

Warm Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a perfect compliment to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasise internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. It is a slower-paced, more meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a longer period of time to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles.

Hot Rocket Yoga

Hot Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and fast paced flow of yoga. It is a derivative of the traditional practice of ashtanga yoga. You will find meditation and focus within a strong and intense practice. There will be arm balances, inversions, backbends and deep stretches. The class is challenging but it is for all levels, with variations and alternatives available to suit your body on the day.

Jivamukti Yoga

House of Hot Yoga’s dynamic Jivamukti class incorporates a Vinyasa-style flow, awareness of breath, meditation, peaceful music, and chanting. Our Jivamukti class includes sun salutations, upper body and core strengthening, and hip and shoulder opening postures. This class works the whole body and supports good alignment, increased strength and stamina, improved flexibility, and inner peace. Our yogis love the various spiritual and physical aspects and benefits of this class. Our Jivamukti class is taught in the hot room at 35 degrees celsius to maximise benefits of the series and allow students to practice safely.

Yoga Nidra

House of Hot Yoga’s Yoga Nidra or “conscious sleep” class is excellent for yogis’ complete physical, emotional, and mental relaxation. This class includes mindful breathing and gentle postures to prepare the mind and body for Yoga Nidra. In Yoga Nidra, students lie comfortably on their mats and are guided in bringing awareness to their bodies, breath, and focal points. A uniquely restful meditation class in which students are awake and aware, approaching a state of mind similar to sleep. Great for stress or a busy life; expect to leave class relaxed and re-energised! We teach Yoga Nidra in our drishti room to provide students the most peaceful meditation.
